PENANJONG GARRISON, Wednesday, 3 September 2025 – The Company Commander Course 2025, which was conducted over the past three months by the School of Infantry of the Royal Brunei Land Forces (SOI RBLF) has officially concluded. The course was attended by 13 officers, inclusive of six officers from RBLF units, one officer from the Joint Force Headquarters, Royal Brunei Armed Forces (JFHQ RBAF), three officers from the Training Institute RBAF, one officer from the Directorate of Religious Affairs RBAF, and two officers from the Ministry of Defence. The closing ceremony took place at the Field Firing Area Firing Range, Binturan, Penanjong Garrison.
Present as the guest of honour was Brigadier General Aldi bin Haji Hassan, Commander of RBLF. Also in attendance were senior officers as well as invited officers from RBAF units.
The event commenced with a briefing on the execution of Exercise 'Gempur Wira', followed by a demonstration of a deliberate attack by course participants comprising of Company Commanders, Section Commanders, and Support Weapons courses. The exercise also involved supporting assets from RBAF, including the Armoured Reconnaissance Squadron of Field Headquarters RBLF, Mortar Platoon of the Infantry Battalion, S70i helicopters from Royal Brunei Air Force, and various support weapons inclusive of the Heavy Machine Gun, General-Purpose Machine Gun, and Recoilless Grenade Weapon.
The ceremony continued with the graduation parade followed by a certificate presentation and concluded with a group photo session.
The Company Commander Course is a vital step in preparing officers for the challenges of commanding a company. Focused on leadership, tactical planning, and administrative duties, the course develops the skills needed to lead a company effectively. Through realistic training and scenario based learning, it ensures officers are ready to assume command with confidence and competence.
PEGAWAI ANGKATAN BERSAMA ANGKATAN BERSENJATA DIRAJA BRUNEI (AB ABDB) BERJAYA MENAMATKAN PENUTUP KURSUS TEMPUR KETUA KOMPENI SESI 2025
PENANJONG GARISON, Rabu, 03 September 2025 - Kursus Tempur Ketua Kompeni sesi 2025 yang telah dikendalikan selama hampir 3 bulan oleh Sekolah Infantri Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei (SI TDDB) secara rasminya telahpun tamat. Peserta kursus terdiri daripada 13 orang pegawai iaitu enam pegawai dari unit TDDB, seorang pegawai dari Markas Angkatan Bersama Angkatan Bersenjata Diraja Brunei (MAB ABDB), tiga pegawai dari IL ABDB, seorang pegawai dari Jabatanarah Agama ABDB dan dua orang pegawai dari Kementerian Pertahanan. Upacara penutup kursus telahpun dijalankan di Padang Tembak Field Firing Area, Binturan, Penanjong Garison.
Hadir selaku tetamu kehormat ialah Yang Mulia Brigedier Jeneral Aldi bin Haji Hassan, Pemerintah TDDB. Turut hadir bagi menyempurnakan majlis adalah Pegawai-pegawai Kanan serta pegawai-pegawai jemputan dari unit-unit ABDB.
Upacara tersebut dimulakan dengan taklimat perlaksanaan eksesais 'Gempur Wira' dan diikuti dengan demonstrasi perlaksanaan serangan dirancang (deliberate attack) dari peserta kursus ketua kompeni dan ketua seksyen serta peserta kursus senjata bantuan. Perlaksanaan eksesais tersebut juga melibatkan aset-aset bantuan ABDB yang terdiri daripada Skuadron Kereta Peninjau Perisai Markas Medan TDDB, Platun Mertak Batalion Infantri, pesawat S70i Tentera Udara Diraja Brunei dan senjata bantuan yang merangkumi senjata Heavy Machine Gun, General-Purpose Machine Gun dan Recoilless Grenade Weapon.
Upacara diteruskan lagi dengan perbarisan tamat kursus dan penyampaian sijil dan diakhiri dengan bergambar ramai.
Kursus Tempur Ketua Kompeni merupakan langkah penting dalam mempersiapkan pegawai untuk menghadapi cabaran kepimpinan di peringkat kompeni. Kursus ini memberi tumpuan kepada aspek kepimpinan, perancangan taktikal dan pengurusan pentadbiran, bagi membentuk kemahiran yang diperlukan untuk memimpin kompeni dengan berkesan. Melalui latihan berasaskan senario yang realistik, ianya dapat mempersiapkan peserta-peserta kursus untuk lebih yakin dan kompeten dalam memikul tanggungjawab sebagai Ketua Kompeni.
